The new regulation (which comes into force on 16/04/2020) on covering mouth and nose does not regulate the situation of cyclists separately. This means that general rules apply to cyclists. In particular, the obligation to cover the mouth and nose applies to all public areas.

During the coronavirus epidemic, it is very important to maintain an appropriate social distance that limits the possibility of infection. In the recommendations of the authorities of different countries, a safe distance is defined between 1.5 and 2 m. However, these recommendations apply to people who stand still and do not move dynamically. The situation becomes more complicated when we do physical activity and are on the move, i.e. we run or ride a bike.

It would seem that there is no easier thing than parking a bicycle. There is not much space needed, we do not have to look for a parking lot, and the most important thing is a solid fastening and securing the two-wheeler against theft. However, it turns out that the law regulates the parking of a bicycle as it does in the case of other vehicles. The issue of parking a bicycle is regulated by the Road Traffic Act, and moreover these provisions are identical to those for cars.
