A scooter, like electric skateboards or segways, is defined as a personal transport device (UTO). And what is interesting, in Polish law, UTO users are now treated as pedestrians. Unlike cyclists - they can e.g. cross the road across a pedestrian crossing. Increasingly, they develop high speed, posing a real threat to pedestrians. Therefore, a person riding on this type of device is difficult to treat as a pedestrian. However, according to the applicable regulations, they are not vehicles authorized to move on the bicycle infrastructure. This does not mean that they do not use it ...
